These Delivery Terms & Conditions govern the processing, packaging, shipping, delivery, and returns of all orders placed with Joyland Foodie & Catering Services. By placing an order on our website, via WhatsApp, phone, or Instagram, you agree to these terms.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed only after full payment or agreed deposit is confirmed.
  • Processing time usually takes 1–3 working days, depending on stock availability and order size.
  • You will receive an order confirmation with estimated delivery date via WhatsApp or email.

2. Packaging Standards

  • All products (smoked fish, vegetables, soup thickeners, etc.) are carefully packaged using food-grade materials to maintain freshness, quality, and hygiene during transit.
  • Perishable and dried items are packed to minimize damage and spoilage.

3. Delivery Methods

  • We offer delivery within Lagos and other parts of Nigeria.
  • We currently focus on domestic delivery. International shipping is available on request.

4. Delivery Timeline

  • Lagos Mainland & Island: 1–3 working days
  • Other states in Nigeria: 3–7 working days (depending on location and courier)
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, public holidays, or logistics issues.

5. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on your location, order weight, and volume.
  • The exact delivery cost will be shown to you before you complete your order.
  • Same-day delivery may attract an extra fee (subject to availability).

6. Delivery Address & Pickup Option

  • All deliveries are made to the address provided by the customer during checkout.
  • Please ensure the address is accurate and someone is available to receive the order.
  • Pickup Option: You can also pick up your order at our location. Address will be provided upon request.

7. Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
  • Any damage, missing items, or quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos or videos.
  • Claims made after 24 hours may not be accepted.

8. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control such as heavy traffic, bad weather, strikes, fuel scarcity, or courier company issues.

9. Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of most of our products (fish, vegetables, crayfish, etc.), we have a strict return policy:

  • Returns or refunds are only accepted if the product is damaged, defective, expired, or wrong item sent due to our error.
  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with supporting evidence (photos/videos).
  • If approved, we will offer a replacement or refund to the original payment method.
  • Refunds (when approved) are processed within 5–10 working days.
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind, wrong order by customer, or items not reported on time.
